What is the Faith in Action Mission Day Camp?  It is a summer ministry for children who have completed first through fifth grade, and takes place right here at Tinkling Spring!  In five action packed days children have an opportunity to serve their community through service projects while enjoying growing in their faith!

Children learn how they can make a difference, not just during camp, but everyday of their lives, as they take Jesus’ love and kindness into their relationships with others. In addition to the morning service projects, the day camp offers singing and worship, stories from God’s Word, recreation, crafts and cooking.  Come join us as we have a great time serving the Lord!

- Pay the $10 registration fee for each Fun Day your child will attend.  Checks may be made payable to TSPC (memo-Fun Day).

Fun Days coincide with the Augusta County School Schedule and may be subject to change.

This hands-on experience is offered to encourage young children’s participation in and understanding of worship while guiding them in their own worship experience.  Worship is the heart of Christian life and our children were created to worship God.
On the second and fourth Sunday of each month (September-May), during both worship services, children five years of age, as well as those in kindergarten and first grade, may attend Worship Exploration in room 124 downstairs.  This enrichment activity is a time when children leave the sanctuary with the worship leaders to encounter and praise God in a setting created just for them.

Pre-K Camps

The Early Childhood Learning Center, and Adult and Children’s Christian Education Ministries at Tinkling Spring have come together to create two exciting and interactive summer experiences for preschool age children.

Each week children will enjoy a variety of themed based activities such as cooking, science, music, storytelling, mission, expressive art, science and crafts.  A morning snack is included each day and the children bring a bag lunch.

 Camp #1:  June 5-9, 2017

Camp #2:  July 10-14, 2017

Together, parent and child explore the answers to various worship questions through an age appropriate, hands-on class designed especially for children and their parents. Children in second-fifth grade are invited to participate in the Children at the Lord’s Supper Class.

The meaning and importance of the Lord's Supper is more than we can grasp through words alone.  It is no wonder that we approach the preparation of our children for the Lord's Table as a serious responsibility.  As a family of faith we seek to provide the means of education and ongoing nurture for children and their families in preparing for participation in the Lord’s Supper.

Sundays, March 19-April 2, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Children will be welcomed to the Lord's Table on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017.

THE MUSIC/CREATIVE ARTS CAMP at Tinkling Spring works with children to help develop the music and creative art talents that dwell within each child.  Children explore ways their talents can serve God and how they are His hands here on earth.  This is a learning experience where each child has an opportunity to grow in their faith through fun, games, music and creative arts.
