    Worship Exploration
This hands-on experience is offered to encourage young children's participation in and understanding of worship while guiding them in their own worship experience.
On the second and fourth Sundays of each month during both services, children five years of age, as well as those in kindergarten and first grade, may attend Worship Exploration in room 124 downstairs.  During this enrichment time the leaders guide children in encountering and praising God in a setting created just for them.

Bibles for Life Ministry

The goal of the Bibles for Life Ministry is to place the Word of God in the hands of children and youth at significant times in their lives.  Throughout our journey of faith, Scripture is the Truth that keeps us on the right path.

The following is a list of the Bibles based on the development of the children and the ever changing selection of Bibles from which to choose:
Upon Birth:  The Beginners Bible presented in worship

First Grade:  The CEV Holy Bible presented on Genesis Sunday

Fourth Grade:  The NIV Adventure Bible presented on Genesis Sunday
Seventh Grade:  The NIV Student Bible presented on Genesis Sunday
Graduation:  The NIV/The Message Parallel Bible presented in worship

Faith in Action Mission Day Camp

Faith in Action Mission Day Camp is a summer ministry for children that have completed first through fifth grades, and it takes place right here at Tinkling Spring!  In five action packed days children will have an opportunity to serve their community through service projects and enjoy growing in their faith!

Children will learn how they can make a difference, not just during camp, but every day of their lives as they take Jesus’ love and kindness into their relationships with others. In addition to providing morning service projects, the day camp will offer singing and worship, stories from God’s Word, recreation, crafts, and cooking.  Come join us as we have a great time serving the Lord!  We are excited to offer two incredible opportunities to choose from.  Choose the camp session that works best for your family.

Children at the Lord’s Supper Class
In this hands-on class, parents and children will explore together the meaning and importance of the Lord's supper. The meaning  and importance of the Lord’s Supper is more than we can grasp through words alone.  It is no wonder that we approach the preparation of our children for the Lord’s Table very seriously.  As a family of faith, we seek to provide the means of education and ongoing nurture for children and their families in preparing for participation in the Lord’s Supper.

Children in second-fifth grade are invited to participate in the Children at the Lord’s Supper Class.

Sundays, March 19-April 2, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Children will be welcomed to the Lord's Table on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017.

Confirmation Class

A Confirmation class is provided for the eighth grade students to prepare them to become new members of the church.  The class meets from September through May during Sunday School and is taught by Harriet Thompson, Glenn Martin, and Rev. Tully Hunter  All students are matched  with a ruling elder to be their covenant partner. Students and their covenant partners enjoy various mission and social gatherings throughout the year. In their year together, class members learn what they believe about God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, original sin, eternal life, the church, mission, stewardship, spiritual gifts, and how to live out their faith. On the last Sunday of the class, during the 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services, the participants celebrate the confirmation of their faith in Jesus Christ and become active members of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church.
