Seeking a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry 

The Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church (TSPC) of Fishersville, VA  seeks a full-time staff member, committed to a belief in Reformed Presbyterian theology, to build young disciples for Christ by developing and implementing a comprehensive approach to youth ministry while serving as a spiritual leader and role model. The Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry (DYYAM) is a non-ordained position that reports to the Senior Pastor and supervises youth advisors and community outreach, volunteers. The role provides theological insight and understanding to Tinkling Spring youth of how scripture is relevant and creates a foundation to show them how to live out their faith.

The DYYAM is a vital position to the overall Spiritual mission of TSPC ensuring quality programs and mentoring of youth, primarily sixth grade through college age. Coordinates with the TSPC team to ensure youth activities align with church focus, goals, and needs. The DYYAM is responsible for coordinating with appropriate ministries to accomplish these goals.

The Spiritual Gifts Ministry has been working on our Stewardship theme for this year which is “Extravagant Generosity: The Heart of Giving.

This program will begin on October 20 with all Sunday School classes (including the children and youth) engaging in a four-week study of extravagant generosity, worshiping together through Pastor Patrick Ryan’s sermons and also through daily devotions.

8:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary – Contemporary Worship
9:45 a.m. Sunday School for all ages
11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary – Traditional Worship

Beginning Sunday, June 9 through Sunday, September 1 the 8:30 a.m. service will be held outside in the Pavilion.  In the event of rain, the service will be held in the sanctuary.

TSPC Church Inclement Weather Information
During inclement weather for the regular workday (Monday – Friday) afternoon/evening events, please follow the Augusta County Schools delay and closing schedule.  If school is canceled, all events for that afternoon and evening at the church are canceled.  If school is closed, then the church office will be closed, and all events at the church are canceled. If school is delayed or closed early, then the church office will open late or close early, and all events at the church are canceled.
