Director of Music

Dr. Ting-Ting Yen

has a special passion for children's music and education, inspired by Jesus's love of little ones.  As a professional musician, she strives to reveal God's word through the language of music.

Ting-Ting has enjoyed a versatile musician’s career as both a pianist and violinist.  She is the pianist for Virginia Glee Club at UVa and a member of the Piano faculty at the Heifetz Institute.  As a violinist she is a member of Roanoke Symphony and also performs periodically with Richmond Symphony and Charlottesville Symphony.

Ting-Ting received her D.M.A. in Violin Performance and a masters in Collaborative Piano at the University of Minnesota.  She also holds a master’s degree in Violin from Manhattan School of Music.

Originally from Taiwan, Ting-Ting now lives in Staunton with her husband and two wonderful children they were blessed with, where she enjoys cooking and traveling.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14
