When Do You Gather?
We gather in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. for blended worship. Our Sunday school classes meet from 9:00-10:00 a.m. (there are classes for all ages).
We also gather in the sanctuary each Sunday (September - May) at 6:30 p.m. for a conversational and youth-led evening worship service.
On 5th Sundays, we gather from 9-11a.m. in Spring Hall, our gymnasium space, for an intergenerational learning, worship, and fellowship meal.
Where Are You Located?
We are located at the intersection of Tinkling Spring Road (285) and Goose Creek Road (640) in Fishersville.
Where Should I Park?
We have a large parking lot in front of the sanctuary. You can park in any spot.
Is Your Building Handicap Accessible?
Yes, it is. There are handicap parking spots in front of the sanctuary doors and between the sanctuary and our Spring Hall buildings. You may also park on the far side of the building near Spring Hall. There you will have access to an elevator to take you to sanctuary level.
How Should We Dress for Church?
Most who come for worship are in dress casual attire. No one will ever be turned away or made to feel unwelcome no matter their dress.
Do You Have Child Care?
We do. The nursery is staffed by two adult members from the beginning of the Sunday school hour to the end of the worship hour. We welcome children to stay in worship or, if they are under 5 years of age or not yet in Kindergarten, to go down to the nursery at the beginning of the service or after the children's message.
Are You a Kid-Friendly Church?
We are! Children are just as important a part of our congregation as anyone else. Though they may not understand parts of worship, their participation is nourishment and nurture for both now and the years to come. We welcome a child's energy and imagination as Jesus did...and their clamor, too.
Do You Really Welcome Everyone?
Yes, we do. Being a welcoming church is not just a story we tell ourselves. It's the truth about us. It's also the truth about the Gospel. Here, everyone, no matter what, will be loved and welcomed for being the beloved child of God they already are.
What Do Presbyterians Believe?
Presbyterians are a big tent people. We confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. As Presbyterians, our trust is in the Triune God alone. We believe that discerning, discovering, and then doing the will of God as best as we can and as God’s grace provides, requires worship, prayer, and continual reflection and conversation in community.
We seek to listen to the voice and heart of God in the Holy Scriptures, which we believe are the unique and authoritative witness to the Triune God fully and finally revealed in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. We believe that trusting and putting our faith in Jesus Christ is an ongoing and everyday pursuit, never perfected or completed, but always sought after. Growing in Christ Jesus is a practice of head, heart, mind, and body.
